Fact Finding Recommendations When unions and districts can’t reach agreement through negotiations, they go into a process called “Fact Finding” with a neutral party. No School Closures – J4OS infographic. In the past 15 years, OUSD closed 18 schools. 16 of the 18 schools closed were over 60% Black. 14 of the 18 schools reopened as charters serving 62% fewer Black students. Now the district is proposing to close 24 more schools serving predominantly Black and Brown students!
